Feb 28, 2017 · In Windows 10 PC there is a settings called Mobile hotspot, where you can share your Internet connection with other devices. You have to choose Wi-Fi or Ethernet from where you has the Internet My hotspot shows up in the available WiFi list and shows as "on" but it fails every time. The phone is a Windows Phone 8 device and hasn't been updated since I installed W10 on my laptop, so only the laptop has changed. I can still connect my Windows 7 desktop to the phone's hotspot so I'm sure Windows 10 is the issue. Hotspot: Connects a limited number of Wi-Fi capable devices per vehicle hotspot. Devices connected to vehicle's hotspot use data from your plan. Once a device connects, it will automatically reconnect and use data from your plan unless hotspot is removed from returning device settings or hotspot password is changed.
My mobile wi-fi hotspot does not display on my Windows 10 Laptop. It once came up and now it doesn't. I've tried everything in configurations and even in the command prompt.
