Download for Archer VR600 | TP-Link United Kingdom . It may be that you cannot disable the router portion. (BT does that with its nasty Homehub.) In which case you can put the R8000 into access point mode. Alternatively, find the TP-Link equivalent of this place and see if someone can advise you on putting the thing into modem only mode.

It’s got a dual-core 1ghz processor under the hood, and can run on the 2.4ghz and 5ghz band simultaneously for combined speeds up to 1900Mbps.
