Just did a fresh install of Rasbian Jessie Lite on a pi3, and had the same issue - no Internet, no LAN access. Like other posters, I was able to solve it by re-adding the iptables rules. Nothing to note in the install log:

On the VPN status, the IPv4 Connectivity is listed as Internet the IPv6 is listed as No Network Access.

By the way without vpn the internet is fast and no issues at all. Also did a reboot of the windows pc but the issues remain and they are not on my end.
